Obvious Light

I'm not really natural but I peel the layers sometimes
I'm not really peaceful but I'll try to ease your mind
I'm not really logical but I think in rationales sometimes
I'm not really graceful but I land on my feet sometimes

Call me a dreamer, it's an incurable disease
Call me a slacker, 'cause I do what I please
Call me liberated, 'cause I think with my head
Call me a leader, 'cause I won't be mislead

I fall to the obvious light
The long haul is the sweetest plight

I believe the sun will come crashing down someday
I believe in the miracle of birth in disarray
I see a light outside my window
And it won't burn out, not yet

Carry the burden of a troubled soul, learning to be whole again
Follow the shadow of the purest light, struggling through the night, then
March a progression to a peaceful world and a simple life
Carry the shadow, use your strife

I fall to the obvious light
The long haul is the sweetest plight
Though I may live in night
I fall to the obvious light
